Gold.I’ve been mining since 2011. Im a guy with integrity and like to be efficient. Definitely a hands on type of guy.
If you could choose - Would you prefer to work all night shifts or all morning shifts?
I like day shift because it’s easier than working a hitch of nights then trying to recover.
What are the 2 to 5 most important things in life for you? And what order do you prioritize them?
Family, friends, happiness, integrity and food.
What is the hardest thing you've had to do as a miner physically?
Had a super make a bet for a steak dinner for the crew that we couldn’t get a ventilation job done in one shift. We got er done!
If someone questioned if they would like mining, do you have any advice on questions they could ask themselves about their personality etc. that could help them have a better sense of if they should give it a try?
It’s hard work at times and you have to have integrity and do things the right way because there might not be a second chance. If you think you have what it takes to be a hard working mother fucker with a fucked up schedule then come give it a try. You will meet people that will be your friends for life. The money is good and the beer tastes better after a long day.
