What do you find most rewarding about your job as a miner?
I make sure that it’s safe to enter the mine after the mining has taken place.
What are some of the challenges you face regularly in your work, and how do you address them? Cave ins, slips, trips, falls.
By bolting, and having the proper ppe, the job can be accomplished safely.
Are there any particular skills, qualifications or advice that are essential for someone interested in becoming a miner?
I can’t speak on that, but safety is key!
