What type of Miner are you? How long have you been mining and where are you currently mining?
Hard Rock.  CT and 15yrs.

What led you to a mining career?
I come from a family of baby equipment operators, so it's in my blood. Mining was an accident, I got a break and was hired on to a hard rock mining company and just loved every second of it.

How do you stay alert and keep safety top of mind?
I try to keep an eye out for everyone around me, and because I have children, safety is always on top of my mind, because I want to go home to them every night.

What advice would you give a miner just starting out?
Work hard and learn everything you can.

What makes or breaks a job's success from your experience?
The people you work with.

Do you have any routine hacks, productivity hacks, or mindset hacks that make your job go better?

Don't watch the clock, just do the job and don't let anyone dictate your attitude.

What is one thing you wish more people would know about mining?
It's an essential industry

What's Your Favorite Thing to Do Outside of Work?
Fish/spend time with family

Tell us more about your mining journey:
I come from a family of equipment operators, so I've always loved heavy equipment, I started working on a plant, a jaw/cone/screener set up, when I was about 16 and worked my way up to haul truck driver, then on top running a loader and finally excavator hammering blast rock.
