What type of miner are you and how long have you been mining? Where are you currently mining?
I've been mining since 2013 I can pretty well do whatever is needed but I like blasting. I'm currently at young mine. Hard Rock Miner.
What led you to a mining career?
I'm a 4th generation miner at East Tennessee mines and didn't want to travel no more for work.
What’s a misperception you think the general population has about mining or the biggest thing people should know that they don’t know about it?
They think it is completely dangerous but it's as dangerous as we make it for the most part.
If someone questioned if they would like mining, do you have any advice on questions they could ask themselves about their personality etc. that could help them have a better sense of if they should give it a try?
Mining ain't for everyone give it a shot nothing hurts to try but best have thick skin.
If there was one thing you could change about the mining industry, what would it be?
The one thing I'd like to get rid of in mining is having way to many bosses.
I'm always having a good time at work or home.
